Off the wall idea

SO.. I have had this idea in my head for some time, and although I'm admittedly an automotive noob, the idea seems plausiblle to me. Here's the question. Is it theoretically possible to swap the floor pan out of a 93 GMC Typhoon into an 88 Beretta? I've checked around and the width of the vehicles are identical and the wheelbase is about 3 inches difference. I was just wondering as I have seen a 3800 swap or two around here, so to go even further a 4.3 turbo AWD in a Beretta would be

if it were possible.
Edited for accuracy.

Hooray for specificity!

A Typhoon is mounted to a frame, the Beretta is a unibody. You'd be better off throwing the Beretta body on said frame.

Ah like the Lumina LS1 project. I was not aware of its being on a frame. See that I ask a question and receive knowledge. Right on Kflo. So with that said it would seem that the possibilty is there for a 4.3 turbo Beretta. Maybe even convert to a station wagon type body by attaching the tailgate from the bumper up and joining the roof behind the back seat windows? I know these are only theoretical questions, and have little likelihood of being in my near future or far future for that matter, but what can I say, weird questions pop into my head sometimes.

It'd be ridiculously hard to do the station wagon thing, and it would look like a monstrosity in my opinion. If you want an awd Turbo wagon get a Subaru.
If you want food for thought, the Beretta wheelbase is very close to the Typhoon/Syclone. I've actually seen rwd Berettas mounted on blazer frames before.

Sorry, but there is plenty of info online for you to look at that wouldn't even justify the making of this thread if you would have just put a little bit of time and effort into it...
Sorry if you became offended or disappointed due to your own lack of ambition on the matter.
Next time I just won't post.

I've always thought about the idea of an awd or 4 wheel drive beretta, I'd put it on an s10 blazer frame.

At least if you post an answer to a question make sure its accurate. Thanks for trying to insult me BTW. I did do some research which is what motivated me to ask a question. And you can feel free not to post back next time. I would not be offended.
Edit: You can actually close this thread if nobody has a link to a similar project worth checking out. Kurt thanks for answering my question.

Holy crap, Nasty! Awesome, this was just the type of thing I was asking. I mean, I know just about anything is "possible" if you have the resources and the know-how. Admittedly I don't, at least not yet, but learning requires inquiry. Henceforth the crazy question. I noticed the interior is different as well.. Are those vinyl Z seats? Anyhow dude thanks for the pics.

actually the interior i think is a modified turbo regal parts with some custom one offs to fit the size and shape of the beretta interior. as of now the car is still for sale and i have the guys contact info floating around somewhere in my email. if you want i can hook you up with him. i passed on the car, amazing enough as it is, it has some rust on the rocker area and just wasnt in the market on spending almost 10 grand for a car thats going to need some sheet metal. the rust isnt very much, but enough to deter me from it.
ill post more pics of the car later if you want.
