Bstuff is dead and gone..
Check with Woody, he ordered one from somewhere but I'm not sure what trans it was for, or what style fork.

I got one from VPI for like $160. They're harder than hell to find. And a week or two after I bought mine I stumbled upon a good used one that I still have around as a spare. I'll try to find the part no for VPI.
This is the one you're referring to, right?

Nope, that's not the right one for the '88. It goes though the trans case. It's P/N 8672942 and appears to be readily available.

Hey again .... Thanks woody for the reply , and thanks cliff for the part number . VPI has it for $325.00

I found one at a local transmission shop for $35.00

If anyone needs one in the future , go to southern gear .com ... later

Just a quick update ... that part # did put me on the right track, but it wasnt the right number for the 88 getrag/muncie - it was a little bit different. Southern gear did have the right one and the bushing sleeve ...it ended up being 45 dollars , still better than the 325 from vpi . thanks again guys
