Crazy wind noise on my passenger side.

I have a ton of wind noise coming into the car on the passenger side somewhere near the a-pilar / front of the door. I have looked at the door seals and they are all good. I gave the whole thing a good look one day and it all seemed to be well and good.
Has anyone else had this issue? I am stumped as to where the noise is coming from.

Sure it wasn't the way the wind was blowing? lol
You have those rain drip things installed, ever think they could cause some wind noise? My bro has a set on his pickup and they cause a bit of noise.
Make sure your door is shutting evenly, maybe the top has bowed out away from the body some, causing the lip to catch air? Not sure what else it would be. Examine that drip protector, make sure it isn't coming loose, or has a gap in it, cracked, etc.

hm. I know the mirrors cause a lot of noise on some cars, but if yours just started all of a sudden, I'm not certain what else could be causing it.

Do you have vent shades on it? Also may be the window itself. Check that it seals up to the door properly towards the front of the window, where your hering the noise from. After a while these windows, well they're tracks get worn pretty bad. What year are you having this problem with? I had lots of problems with my 90's windows.

Pull the door seal off and clean it well and the metal where it mounts on the car. Then put it back on using some 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive. I'd be kind of curious as to what'd happen if you put the door seal into a hot shower for a while after cleaning and prior to installation... maybe the steam could breathe some life into it. Some good rubber conditioner after that could make it as good as new possibly.
I bet that fixes the issue. If that doesn't do it, perhaps the fresh air vent under the plastic cowl has gotten wedged open. Or perhaps the passenger window is falling off the track causing a gap. There just aren't many things that can cause sudden wind noise on a non-sunroof car - and when troubleshooting I always start with cheap and easy.

As an update... I swapped out the upper door weatherseal strip and it seems to have solved the problem. Stupid old strips.

Well, I'm not sure it is all gone... but it is better!
