I searched for other topics cant frigen find them LOL.

What kind of fuel millage are most getting from a 3100 automatic ?

My new 96.. ... filled it the other day, 420 KM and still have 1/4 tank, waiting till its empty to calculate.

My odo doesnt always work in the 88 so its hard to calculate the millage with it. but the 96 seems to be better

You don't have to drive it empty to calculate it. Just fill it and use the miles you drove since the last fuel fill up.

my foot is not calm in the 88 5 speed LOL. either is it in the 96 Z 3100 auto. ive been torque'n on it pretty good and seems to be running better and better pick up actually think it might be able to beat my 88 now.

Last time i did any calculations on the 88 3.1 5 speed i think i was getting around 35 KM/gallon 4.5 Liters.

I get 500mi to the tank on the highway; long stretches of 65-70mph driving, like to/from bfest & other interstate trips. I never pay attention to city driving, but I think it's about 25mpg with the city driving I get around here.

Fill it up, drive it for a while, then fill it up again. Then you can get your MPG or L per 100k.

ya i know, i cheaped out and didnt want to fill it, but i got 500 KM to a tank. and still had some left. so i think thats pretty decent.

My 88 seems to be getting harder on gas, it was throwing a map sensor code too, i replaced it the other day with a used one i had and have only drove it up town today. ive been driving the Z all week, my 88 is going to get jealous i had to take it for a little drive today. It feels reallllllllly weird to drive it now and even with Z seats in my 88 it feels like im sitting weird compared to the 96

I have gotten 500 miles (not K ) out of a tank before.. Hell I got over 450 miles out of a tank on my way home from Chicago last year!

300-400 miles seems to be the average though...

I get about 29 mpg in the Z26. I wouldn't mind a 6th gear.

in my purple car i had, before jons flash tune, i was getting like 25mpg with a 2095 stall, it kept kicking in and out of overdrive like lockup for the converter. after his flash tune i got 30-31mpg. my best was 32.4mpg doing about 70mph. that was a 3400/choked up and a 4t60e with a 2095 stall.
