I switched my doors because i wanted power windows about 6 months ago. I figured it would be easier then swithing over the motors and mounts after seeing my brother do it on his cavalier. Know the light does not come on when I open my door. I also don't get the ding for when you leave the keys in the ignition and open the door. The passenger side works fine.

Open the door and look toward the lower door hinge. It's just a push button swich, was a $3 part last I checked.

Is it suppose to be on the door or the car. I looked at both sides and didn't see any push button switches. I also checked the pasenger side and didn't see any thing.

Yeah, it's on the doorframe (not the door) beside the lower hinge (hinge, not latch) as Brian said. The head of it is white (becomes yellow or brown over the years) and it is surrounded by a black convoluted rubber boot.

Punk, Did you find it yet? If you have, Please let me know where it is!
The ones there talking about appear to be on earlier models. I know my '89 had it and my '91 has it, but no where to be found on the new family member, my '94.

I wasn't aware that they changed that at all though the years. I've got a 94 base parts car, I'll see what I can find on that this weekend.
