Here it is! It's a little over a week left to go! In a joint venture between Gearhead Designs and Wanako Works, we are proud to present to you the new official logo of BerettaFest 2011!! Woody took care of the sick main logo design work and I redid the Convertible Pace Car. This will be on all your BFest swag (shirts, etc.).

Looks awesome, too bad I won't be there. Maybe someday I'll get to see that car :/

Why wasn't the Beretta font used on the Berettafest part of the logo? Not a huge deal just curious.

No clue. That was Woody's part, so he probably had his own ideas about that. I just collaborated on the car drawing.

Most bfest shirts have not used the Beretta font - Charlotte is the only one I can think of that did. I used a font closer to the door decal on an Indy.

Me like. What color will the T's be?

T-shirts are going to be gray in color. Looks good and gives the illusion of pavement underneath the car...

Woody is spot on, the font looks much better as a mock up of the original Indy decals!

That's true! I didn't notice that. Wasn't that (or similar) font used for a lot of our logos and such, Like some emblems and decals?

Mike, are you talking about light ash gray or something darker? The bright yellow and pink will look like crap on gray if they are not underprinted with white.

And Gerson, the final artwork does have the whole oval, right? I see in your preview it's cropped on the sides.

um, I'm not sure. I haven't changed it from what you gave me.

edit* If I remember correctly I think you gave me one with a full oval but some of it was outside of the artboard, which is why it exported cut-off this way to JPEG. I gave Mike the .AI file which should have the completed thing, but I'm not sure how his supplier will see it. I don't have the files with me so I won't be able to tell until later tonight.
