It looked like it was the timing cover seal and possibly the crank seal as well....

Valve cover gaskets, Lower intake gaskets, Lower intake Valley, and Oil pan gasket.  I can almost bet the crank seal is not the only culprit.

Those 4 combined areas I said are where your leaks are coming from.  You have still yet to do your LIMG gasket so I'm sure the valley is leaking.

all in a good days worth of work  if u start early enough in the mornin and the easiest way in my opinion would be to pull the motor and change them all on a engine stand

blah... I did the LIMG valve cover gaskets and timing cover gasket, which also allowed me to re-seal the timing cover to oil pan area on my moms GA in the car and its been fine ever since... Screw taking the motor out.

Well as it is now..... I WILL be selling the Corsica. When? I dont know.... it all depends on when amoney starts coming in that I can afford to buy something else. I need a bigger family car than the Saturn so the only other car is the Corsica. I have no problem driving a van or a wagon. Hell the Saturn is a wagon, and I have own vans BEFORE I had children. That and I have a van that I drive everyday(my 05 freestar which is a cargo company van), so driving a van doesnt bother me in the least.

I'll fix the things that need to be fixed to a certian extent. Lifting out the motor to replace seals/gaskets is not one of those things I'm about to do. If I were to go to that extent, I would just replace the motor with a 3400. Basically, I will do what is needed to keep the car reliable and thats all, till I get something different. I already have been scoping out what's out there and exactly what I want to get when I have the money.

Same. I even put a piston in my 3100 without pulling the engine. Its a PITA, but its not that bad.

Dont sell corZca

Dang man, can't you keep it? Say it's not so! Get rid of the Saturn, the kids will want a cool car to ride around in someday. Think of the kids!
