Radiator compatibility?

According to the computers at my work, a '94 3.1L beretta is the same as a '94-'96 Beretta and Corsica.
Now, I have a feeling the 3.1L rad is the same but I don't know. Anyone have any input?

no, a 94 and 95 are not the same as a 96. The "top hose" out of the thermostat housing on a 96, connects to the inlet positioned in the middle of the tank, whereas, the 94 & 95 the inlet is positioned at the top of the tank. The hoses are also differently shaped, 94/5 vs 96. The 3.1's have the trans cooler on the opposite side of the 94, 5, & 6 rads. Also some of the earlier rads were weird, depending on the year, some had rad caps on the rad themselves, while others had no necks on the rad, and used a neck on the engine or overflow tank.
