Use a trans cooler for a oil cooler?

I acquired a hayden trans cooler part number 1404, for heavy duty applications. I'm wondering If this can be used as an engine oil cooler on my GTZ? If I can't use it i'll just put in on my sonata's trans. Whats everyones feedback on this idea?
