Are the z26 bolster type front seats compatable in a gtu & how about the back ones?? I would think that they should both just bolt right up? Just wanted to know this before i head down to the junkyard to yank them out... thanks for the help guys..

Yes they will fit. Newer seats in older car is a direct swap. I put 1990 seats in my 1994 and the passenger side tilt lever rubs the console a little, no big deal they still fit fine

Forgot you asked rear too. If the GTU has folding and the z26 has folding it should work

The Z04 seats sit about 1" higher than other seats offered, just FYI.

Meaning that indy seats are a inch lower than z26 seats?

Damn you, you know what I meant.

Indy/GTZ/LTZ/Z26 seats sit 1" higher than other seats.

Z04 was much easier to type lol.

I was actually very serious about that. The indy seats use a much softer foam than my z26 seats did. Granted they are 5 years older, but I sit lower in my 94 than I do in the 95 and the only difference is the indy seats and z26 seats.

Really? It might be the foam; or the adjustment bracketry. Aren't the brackets/adjustments under the seat different from older style interiors to the newer style interiors?
