Hi guys... today i started her up and she shot up to about 2500rpms and stayed there.. i disconnected the tps which it dropped of a little bit... I have replaced the tps, iac, new intake system im going to look for vaccum leaks tommorow are their any other possibilities to my problem?... also my second question/problem is my brake pedal goes to the floor... i have done a complete car restoration, and just fixed my e-brake today as well, that front cable thats inside the center console was a pain but the ebrake is superb.. could this too be caused by a vaccum leak? the only brake component i have not replaced was the brake booster, when i pump the brakes i hear a "whoooshhh" sound from the pedal... thank you guys for your help...

Vacuum leaks can cause high idle and issues with the brakes, but try this with your brake:
With the engine off, push on the brakes several times, see if they get hard/tight to push. (essentially once the vacuum is used up they should get extremely hard to push) If they continue to go clear to the floor, even with it off, then something is wrong with your brakes. Obviously check the fluid level, etc.
When there are serious vacuum leaks, the brakes will not work correctly. Also the connecting rod from the pedal to the brake booster (under the dash) can come loose. Someone just had that happen this past Fest and they tore a hole in the booster. Once that happened the brakes were trying to stay applied. We had to bypass his brake booster from the vacuum so he could get home. Brakes were hard to press, but at least he had some.
Also with vacuum leaks that bad, usually you can hear it hissing. But with the engine running off kilter and no brakes, yeah check for leaks.
