how do i fix window wobble? when i close my door the windows tend to slap around. not bad enough to break of course but just enough to annoy.

there are alot of other little creeks, rattles, vibrations, etc i would like to know how to fix.
center console vibrates
power window switch for driver side sticks down
general flam-a-lam when the door closes
glove box
etc

What year?

Driver's side control is supposed to stick down, called an express down feature, at least mine has it, but its supposed to release after a few moments. I usually toggle it up before that point. As for the window slap rattle, hell they all do that. Worse when the windows gaskets get old and cracked. I think my doors have done most of that all their life. But yeah its more noticeable with age.

Console vibrates due to loose mounting, broken mounts, etc. Plastic as it ages shrinks and warps. The joys of 15-25 year old cars.

I have a squeak rattle from the pass side of my dash, but what do I do about it? Turn the radio up. :D

Only thing I can tell you, is first you have to identify where the noise is coming from, then find a way to prevent it. Usually a rattle is caused by two hard objects bumping together. If you place something between the two objects to cushion them, then the noise will stop. That or try to move or align them/tighten them so they don't touch each other. But that isn't always possible.

I can understand how rattles and squeeks can drive you crazy, but as was stated, it's the joys of owning a mass produced, CHEAP, 20 year old car.

My '91 has been pretty babied and is actually pretty tight, but the 3500 that has been raced to death for most of the last 10 years is pretty noticable.

Just do your best to chase them down one by one and McGiver something to shut it up.

Have fun
