2nd that. It should be 750rpm,but remember that your tach is not dead on. It should read close to 1000rpm when the AC is on.

Thanks. Trying to get this baby back to normal as possible. Headliner get replaced next week. Trying to track down little stuff that completes the car and makes it whole so to speak. Working on radio next. She is cleaning up really well.
I am shocked how well it runs for a 21 year old car. I did a general tune up, that is it. no smoke at all, no drips from underside at all in the garage where it sits most of the time when not driven. I TOTALLY expected it do drip. Sons car, we want him to drive it for a year or so (small, easy to drive) before he moves up to a truck which then I plan to buy it back off of him and hopefully restore it best possible. Sure it is not going to be a 1965 Stang in worth ever, but it is diff, the yellow is loud, and no one see's these on the road much anymore much less a Indy car that most didn't know was one. Will make a fun cruise in car. To bad it was not a stick though.
It is funny to sit it next to my 05 Black Magnum RT, talk about two totally diff types of cars from diff era's.

Yeah Tim I still have alot of love for a 3.1. My car ran great at 213K when I lost it. But it did leak.
Man I hope he is good to it and crazy careful with it. Hell get him the truck now.
There are alot of Stangs out there. Not many Indy's.

Tim just looked at you photo's again on the ACE's topic. That strip that runs from the top of the door to the back glass. Make sure that it's glued down very well, the tend to fly off. Weather strip glue works well.

That black piece, from the top back of the door to the top of the back window? Yea I was missing one to start with. Are those only on the indy? I have never seen it on any Beretta in the junk yard. The one I have is in pretty good but I will double check it. The other side that is missing was actually a cause of a leak into the trunk. It was running down the opening at the top of back window right into the truck. So I back filled the opening at the window some then just ran a bead in the groove to make it look like the other side. That thing being one of MANY that I can't find in any junk yard. This 88-90 is one hard car to find parts of non mechanical to find.

Yes that one. No they are on all years. Oh yeah they cause a leak when they are missing(lol). I have a few by the way, snag them if I see them in the JY.

Every Beretta I have seen thus far, 4 or 5 in the pull and pay yards, none of them had that pc.
What holds them down? Adhesive?

I don't know what GM used. Just know that it only lasts for 10 years. That weatherstrip adhesive works great. Also I had to plug that area too when I lost one of mine. It was a known leak maker and now I have the best of both worlds. Sure wouldn't mind putting some body filler in there, but it looks better with the black strip.
