running rough

my z26 has a problem with running rough. it only happens once in awhile but then it will come out of it and run fine. it seems like all of a sudden it will start to miss and i cant get the rpms over 1500 without it missing. ive already tried differnt coils and that didnt seem to help what should i try next?
