Make sure it has antifreeze in it. If it snows and they salt the roads go to a car wash after the roads clear to prevent rust from salt sitting under your car

that last suggestion, a BIGGY. I ALWAYS run my car through a wash that also cleans the bottom of cars or if I need to take to a self wash and spray it down myself the best I can.

Or all I do is put it in the garage with some sta-bil in the tank. Hook up the Battery Tender, put the cover over her and patiently wait till spring.

Never even do that. I give her a bath, tuck it away, disconnect the battery and that's it. (I leave the positive connected and the battery in the holder) When I get back in the spring, I hook up the battery and she fires right over as if I parked it there yesterday. I always put a full tank of gas in her before storage too, so water can't condensate in the tank.

Put it in the garage on jackstands and then take the whole thing apart to make it better for next year. Thats how its REALLY done! :)

I'm with you this yeart 3x00. Past years I just put stabil in the tank and unhook the battery. My z and gt sat for 4-5 months, and fired right up when it came time to take it out. Also parked it on wood so the tires didn't dry-rot.
