Try this again.. I just typed up a huge thing

This car has a salvage title, but will not take much to get to pass inspection. (brake light, tires and possibly egr valve,, and some wiring from it sitting in field w/ mice) It comes w/GTU rims and tail fin thingy. I can text pix this weekend, pm me your number. The car has only 81k miles est. and its been parked from me for 3 years, and the person I bought it from had medical issues so he couldn't drive it, just parked it. I'm very willing to negotiate, i have another baby now and back in college. But if I have to state a price to start will go $800. I know the engine alone is almost worth that, b/c my grand Prix has a blown motor right now

sucks.. Sorry won't part it, you can do whatever once you take it. Thanks!

Interested. If you can get us some pics I would like to see what you have there. Body condition, interior condition, engine bay. It will help a lot.

cjbabe, where are you located in central WI?
I live in the dead center of Wisconsin and would most likely be willing to check this car out for anyone on here who is interested!

Yeah, I'm all thumbs and I typed my cell # wrong, ooops! I got it right the 2nd time, lol! Thanks for the pictures today!
Here are the pics she sent me everyone!

She has the center caps for all the GTU rims as well.
I plan on checking this car out in person and taking more pics!

I went and looked over this car today and took a couple dozen pictures and a video.
For starters, this car is very solid and has 85,459 miles. I checked all the normal areas of concern and found no rot whatsoever. It has some typical paint raising/flaking around the inner wheel lip area on the front and back with a few spots of light surface rust, that's it!
Now on to the pics!
Door jambs.
Rockers and floors.
Front fenders.
Rear fenders.

Dang.
I know what 5 years did to the base I have now. And it wasn't pretty. Hate to say it, but that thing is going to need a LOT of work. Does it even run anymore? Has anyone tried to start it?
Have to pass as I have enough going on already, to have to try to fix this one up too.
And correct me if I'm wrong, but this looks like it was a base that had the GTU spoiler installed, obviously she has the GTU rims, and it has a set of GT crosslace rims on it? I didn't see GT logos, and it doesn't have a GTU lower trim/bumper package so.... Confused here.
Something doesn't add up. Anyone have a VIN so we can see what it really was?

As far as the salvage title is concerned, the car appears to have been in a front end collision some time ago and it appears that the front bumper, grill, and headlights are off of an older Beretta. The front bumper cover has the red GT stripe, it has a paint matched red GT/GTU grille, and the front headlights have the rubber gaskets around them. I looked over the entire body and found no remaining signs and no previous repair signs of any structural damage.
In order for it to pass inspection and to be driven to get titled it would need or most likely need:
A new automatic shift cable
A new hood release cable and interior plastic lever
New wipers
New tires
Cleaning, lots of it!
and I'd give the brakes a once over and make sure the e-brake worked
also, the check engine light is on and the idle is quite high and it does not idle down properly when warm. The engine did sound good! It did not smoke, the oil was full, but needed changing, no sign of coolant in the oil. The exhaust didn't appear rusty or sound leaky! The brakes held pressure and the power steering seemed to work good. I didn't try the wipers, and I didn't try to open the manual crank windows. The lighting system seemed to be in good working order, it may need a bulb or two here and there, I didn't really look...
I put my battery in it and it started up right away like it should!
I will upload a video of it running shortly!

LOL, did you read anything I wrote or just look at the pictures? It's a 92 V6 Auto base model with an 89ish GT front bumper, grill, and headlights, GTU wing, GTU and GT wheels, and 89ish GT seats, minus the rear top part. Not much of a mystery really, we all like to add the various cool parts to our rides! The owner said she has had 5 Berettas and used to be on Bstuff, her name is Fawn.
This car needs WAY less work then my Quad Z26 did if you can believe that!
and yes it runs good (minus the high idle), uploading the video now!
The difference between this car and the base you bought, is that the base you bought is a piece of crap, lol This car was only parked because it wasn't legal to drive. This car is far from crusher material IMO!

If you don't want to look at my blurry picture, here's the VIN #: 1G1LV13T9NY178033
The local pick n pull yard just got in a nice parts car that would help get the car for sale in this thread back into shape! Factory sunroof car and it's a 5 speed if I remember right!
