Acceleration/Idle Problem

I have a 94' 3.1 Beretta.
I've been having several issues that I feel are all related.

1.) The SES light use to come on as I decelerated when I was traveling at speeds over 60mph. - That finally stopped happening.
2.) If I let off the gas at around 20mph, the car continues to accelerate till it reaches 35-40mph and never decelerates.
3.) When I'm at a full stop (ie. red light) the SES light will come on. If I place the car in neutral the light will eventually go off.
4.) After driving the car around it seems to be idling high when I place it in park, before I turn it off.

I've tried finding someone to scan the SES code, but the Autozones around hear can't scan an OBD 1.5.

Any suggestions before, I give in and take it to a mechanic?

Thanks!

Check your throttle body for carbon buildup, it may be holding the throttle slightly open.
an ERG valve thats stuck slightly open would cause poor idling and stalling. all the EGR does is insert inert gasses into the intake to cool the combustion temp down to prevent Nox from from forming. you wouldn't really notice a problem with it.
your IAC motor could be bad too. for all I know you could have EVAP emission problems.

I agree with the IAC being bad or cloged with carbon.

Thanks! I'm trying to find some to scan the engine codes. Probably save me some time trouble shooting the problem.

Either IAC or TPS sensor.

I think I found the problem. It seems to be a vacuum leak. The part of the vacuum hose that runs from the PCV valve to the Intake manifold (see red circle) does not fit tightly. It seems to be missing something; the hole in the intake manifold is quite a bit bigger in diameter then the connector from the hose. Once I moved the connector to completely cover the whole the engine began to idle correctly.  Thanks for all the advice.

Missing Grommet?
I order a new set of vacuum hoses from my local GM parts dealer.
Here is a photo of the old and new vacuum hoses next to each other.
So my question is what happened to the grommet on the old hose?
Could it have fallen off into the intake? Should I be worried about it's whereabouts?

Possible, but more likely is someone removed it at some point and lost the grommet.
