I just thought of this and thought i'd share it. When we had to change out the ignition module on our 2.8 (supposidly its supposed to be for only 3.1's but ours did it) and then you rev it up and it dies, it needs to learn idle. Here is how you do it. (shops cost money for this!!!)
1. turn car on until the cooling fan turns on.
2. turn car off for 5 minutes.
3. turn car on until the cooling fan turns on again.
4. turn car off.
DONE!
Precision Tune charged us 20 bucks for a 15 minute job. Just thought i'd share it so you can all have the knowledge in case it ever happens to you. (if you already didn't know)

This works too and is quicker sometimes:
1. Reset ECM by pulling ECM fuse (underhood) for a few seconds.
2. With A/C turned off, start car and immediately put it in Drive
with your foot on the brake. If the car does not start initially,
keep trying WITHOUT putting your foot on the accelerator.
3. Let the car idle in gear for at least 5 and no more than 7 minutes.
4. Shut off the car for 10 seconds.
5. Start engine, place in drive and let idle for 5 minutes.
6. Shut off engine.
7. Idle is learned.

Best way that works EVERY TIME.

Start the car and go for a drive . Works perfectly.
