How are you going to lower the seats? There is not much head room in these cars anyway. Just asking.

I am yet to start the tear down, But I think I should be able to lower the seats 3/4 to 1". I am still reading up on glass cutting.

Damn that's got to be a PITA.
How is the engine running?

Engine (stock) runs fine on small turbo 60 A/R compressor. I think it may be time to start thinking V8 or the ol' Z34 OHC 3.4 I think they are twin dual but I dont remember. I had a 91 3.4 in the Lumina Z34. Stock 225HP.
I am looking to go for the "Rat Rod" look.

so your going to rip out a 180hp quad 4, in favor of a swap that will cost you tons of time and a chunk of change, you know w41 cams, cai, header, 7400rpm chip, and a few other small things will put your quad in like the 210 range and probably not even cost you $1,000.

i thought the 3.4 dohc didnt fit. it was too wide. i remember reading something about it on bstuff a long time ago.

yep, they also said rwd wasnt doable, awd isnt doable, 3500 seemed like a far fetched idea at one point, 3800's werent doable... anything can be done with $$$ and time.

Wow, sorry gentlemen. I dont regret getting rid of the Q4 but i do regret not going with the L67.
