so far he says he had it looked at it needs a crank position sensor. he also said it has been sitting up for about a year. may get pics tomorrow. hoping to get some more detailed info today.

he sent me an email saying he checked the code and got a misfire on cylinder 2 reading.

any ideas? this could be a decent buy

ICM and or coils. How does it look on the outside?

havent seen it yet. he is supposed to be sending me pics tonite. how expensive is the ICM/coils. its about an hour away from me but i have AAA and could have it towed. if i can get him down and its in good shape, it could be a flip car. what do you think about the 50k miles story? something is grabbing me about that, seems too low

Yes that seems a bit too low. Unless it was his moms car and she never drove it kind of thing. I'd go with the tow so you can find out what is really wrong with it for sure.
