I cannot seem to find any undone lines anywhere. As you may know from my previous post, a line burst on my heater core when i was driving down the road and to replace it i need to find where these lines go to. Can someone please help.

Ace was correct in the other thread; there are two plastic lines coming out of the heater core, those typically fail after repeated heat cycles and crack/leak. Or the plastic end tanks on the heater core do the same thing.

They go through the firewall into the heater core, near the bottom of the firewall, toward the driver's side. You may have have to lift the front end up and get underneath to get to them because of all the stuff on top and behind the engine depending on what engine you have.

Actually I was wondering where the other end of the lines go to from the heater core. I'm asking because I have to locate the lines because when the metal clip broke the line came off when I was driving. 2.8 multiport

They both start at the top of the water pump housing - one line runs across the front of the engine, through the throttle body, and down the drivers side of the block, the other comes from on top of the water pump and down the right side of the car and along the firewall.

I was confused earlier. I thought that the drain tube was something else. I hope im not irritating everybody. Im just new to this. I already have the Haynes manual in the car and im buying a spectra heater core later on today. and again, Im sorry if i'm irritating everyone.

no irritation, just a simple mistake, but make sure to read everything that people are taking the time to post, it will save you a headache and also eliminate unnecessary questions like this.
