oil pressure switch/sensor
override it with the lonely mysterious plug under hood near wiper motor and driver side strut tower

I tried putting power to that and nothing.

Also, I cranked it over until I seen oil pressure, the car ran when I parked it. I find it hard to believe the pump took a crap while it was parked.

Tap the relay? Is there a fuse?

The relay has power and ground to it, I'm going to jack it up and see if I can unplug it at the tank and check there.

I think you have a problem at the fuel pump then. I believe the wire bypasses the relay anyhow

Be quick about it, I'm a heavy tipper.

I unplugged the harness above the fuel tank, no power on the gray, but 9 volts on the purple wire, bad relay? Does anybody know if there's supposed to he more than one hot present at the relay plug?

Simple test.

With the connector unplugged from the floorpan just above the tank, jump the bypass for the pump (the lonely pigtail by the driver's side shock tower), then go checking for voltages at the connector. Unplug the bypass and check again, that will tell you if you are getting a hot for the pump. I don't know what colors are what under there, but that will eliminate the wiring. No that doesn't eliminate the relay, but if you are getting power to the rear connector by the tank with the bypass, then the pump is not working....... The only other thing would be if there is an issue with the grounding for the pump? Meaning you have a hot, but nowhere for it to go once it gets there.
