The forging number will be on the first counterweight. You may also want to contact rock auto for one (thats where i got mine) - not sure if they ship worldwide though.

459? is it? written in block 459L, 459R.

It should be cast on the weight of the crank from what Ron is saying, not on the block.

Only pic I can find of a casting number on a 3400 crank.

Should be in the same spot on the 2.8/3.1 cranks.
