That's literally 30 minutes away from me.. Im pretty sure I know the guy who owns it. I can afford it but I already have plans for an extra gear in the Aqua Z haha

Then again something is telling me I should buy this car. The only thing I don't know about is 370k on the car.. maybe that's a typo?

What I see, besides the high miles, is the rocker rost which literally stands out on the picture. Usually its hard to see it on photos which do not actually show the rockers...looks like it quite rotted.

Huh? What are talking about? Are you looking at the right ad? This is a quote from the ad:

-no rust under the car, it was undercoated when it was new by zebart, and the only rust is near the gas lid.

Also, the high mileage is pretty irrelevant seeing as damn near every wear item has been replaced with new or better parts...

I see rocker rust in this photo...

also no note on transmission mileage... I know high miles on a 5-speed isn't as bad, but 350k will wear a unit if not driven nicely.

It's a craigslist ad... see it in person before you believe everything written and call someone out on what they see in the pics.

Saying it's rusty is just as much of a call out as saying it's not... Please refer to my previous statement.

Well then I guess my point is your reply to his comment about possible rust is a bit abrasive and should have been lightened up if "both of you" are only speculating.

The underbody can be still clean, even though the rockers are rusted, it is usually like this on our cars. But - just speculating

The rocker panels are part of the underbody... So this must be one of those special rusted out rust free cars.
