how do you change them? i pulled the panel the other day and there was a clusterfudge of wires.

They are twist locks, I think there are like 2 or 3. And yes, they are in the "clusterfudge" of wires, but you will find them specifically between where the knobs are, which is why I say 2. I can get a pic of the back of a control, if you need it. Just have to make a trip to the shed with a camera. lol

Those are 74's BTW...very common burnt out.

i checked the panel out when i went to the yard today since it was just laying in the parts car. those bulbs are super tiny! how do you get them out of the harness with out breaking them?

Take them out through the front. Just remove the trim bezel, remove the hvac face and clear panel and then you can easily pull them out with needle nose pliers.

the ones i looked at yesterday pulled out from the back of the hvac panel. they were in a tiny harness. wouldnt needle nose pliers break the bulb?

Take them out through the front. I've never changed one by taking it out the back, and I've changed them in both of my 93s, one recently.

You might even be able to do it with finger tips. I know I can do it fast, only tools being needle nose if needed.
