head question

i have an 2.3 ho engine out of a 93, and i was curious wether that would still run the 086 head or not. i need to know this so ican find more specs on the head itself. i can check casting numbers if neede just not right now.

well i went and checked the casting code stamped on my head. it was 22539086 so i am assuming i just answered my own question

Sounds like that engine has been apart. I'm pretty sure they did not use the 086 head after 92 for emissions reasons. Perhaps they released a few with old parts?

engine may have been apart, or it could be the guy was wrong about the year of the car it came from i guess but as long as i know what head it really is it gives me something to work with
