Started the car up before and it would turn on for a second or two than shut off, however if I held on the gas very lightly while cranking it over it would stay running. It seems to surge and the idle would fluxuate. Now. Last fall I put a cold air intake in and inplace of the pcv tube that goes from the valve cover over to the air box I put a breather filter in, just wondering if that could be adding to my problems. I've changed the tps, maf, iac valve,throttlebody,plugs,wires,o2 sensor, vaccum lines, fuel pump, fuel lines, sending unit, fuel injectors, knock sensor. I've done it all to this car and now this. Also what is the correct fuel pressure suppose to be as I willl be doing a test at the rails this week.thanks

I believe fuel pressure should be around 40 running. My car was just doing the same thing your car is, except my speedo stoped working as well.
I went through a bunch of stuff and I ended up replacing the whole ecm not just the chip from my parts car and its running perfect again. Just something else to try I cant promise it will be fixed though. Good luck with it.

Yep its got a brand new throttle body, and yea it will stay running. Take a minute or two for it to calm down and run normal.

Fuel pressure should be 43.5psi with the vac line removed from it.
What do you have done to this car as a whole? As beretta noted he's referring to running a 3400 TB on a 3100 small port intake, if they are not matched or ground down on the IAC passage you will have idle issues.

it sounds like the exact same issue i just had for the past year LOL.. since ive put the 3400 TB on, but in the warmer weather it would stay running. i had to hold the gas as well sometimes for a few seconds sometimes for 20-30 seconds and it would level out and stay running all day.
