I need to know if it is possible to by-pass my heater core. It is a 1996 3100. It will just be a temporary fix till I get the time to fix it.

Thanks,
Jason

yes you can bypass it. go to autozone, advanced auto, napa, or similar parts store and get a U shaped heater core hose that is the same size as the heater core hose on your car i forget the size its like 5/8 or 1/2 or something. (take one off to match it or measure the piping) and a couple of hose clamps because the ones that are on there are a pain to take off and put back on, in the area they are in. have fun and good luck.

Thank you, That's exactly what I needed. The drain that my antifreeze is leaking through is next to the a/c piping right? Then the heater core hoses are closer to the driver side...

Thanks,
Jason

Winter is right around the corner. Why not just change the heater core?
