Heater/Ac Blower stuck on Defrost

My Switch For my 1988 Chevy Beretta GT Blower for the defrost, heat and a/c just turns for days.
I thought that the problem was the 2way check valve for the vaccum in the lines but when i switched out the valve the switch only got a little bit of pressure back.
im taking apart the instrument panel face plate today to see if the switch has any electrical problems.
But if this dosnt work im stumped.
Any Suggestions?

those settings are controlled by vacuum, so check around the engine bay a bit, and could also be damaged or disconnected somehow at the back of the hvac controls. (pretty unlikely, unless a stereo was jammed in there and damaged or dislodged the hoses)

Out of curiosity, if you have cruise, does it work? If not it might be a vacuum line. Cruise and hvac both run off the vac tank.
