Speed sensors?
Speed sensors?
hope the community can help, my 95 Z26 has an issue where once i shift into od the check engine light comes on, I've deduced that the speed sensor needs replacement but.....would this be the sensor on the out put yoke or the one behind the valve bodies and is a major job to replace, I've watched a couple of vids and one vid showed no sensor at all behind valve body (input speed sensor)
Thanks for your input folks!

Re: Speed sensors?
Are you sure that it's the speed sensor? Can you get the code number?

Re: Speed sensors?
yes it's a bit trickier to pull codes on the 95... i still have yet to try... and local US stores dont have the reader to do mine, or don't want to help...
but you should try your local parts stores and see if they have a code reader than can read you car. it's not obd2, more like obd1, but different connector. i've goolged it quickly, maybe someone has experience and has actually done it before. can you just use a paper clip in the appropriate spots and watch the check engine light flash? or needs a specific code reader, pretty much only good for gm's of the 1995 year?
