So this gonna be my first bfest (I went to a NE Beretta bash but I'm guessing this is way different) and I'm wondering if there's anything I should need to know or bring? (besides my car haha) idk I just want to be prepared.

Depends on what all you want to do while you are here. I just got done painting a hood and fender for mine.

My first one was last year. When you get there don't forget to get the packet with all the directions and info in it from Mike. I got mine on Saturday last year and it was no help by then lol. Also bring a two-way radio (frs radio I think its called?) that way you can hear what's going on during the fest. It's helpful knowing if you only have a few minutes before everybody is leaving for somewhere lol.

I didn't have a radio last year.. this year I have two haha. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm looking into getting a frs radio and I assume I will get the map and stuff when I check in with registration?

Yeah, myself or Mike will have stuff for everyone. One reason I am going a day early, as I still have the scavenger hunt to finish prepping.

Make sure to get there for registration check-in on thursday (or look me up if you come in after we close). FRS is a MUST! Channel 6, subchannel (or security channel) 21. All info and conversations happen there! Packets with directions and goodies get distributed at check-in or when you find me

Sadly I don't have a working FRS, have a spare one Mike? That or I will pick up one while I'm down there.
