90 GTZ has a what I beieve to be a dealer installed princess pop off and removable sunroof, my question is are these common for my year GTZ , or did someone just want a sunroof installed and did it somewhere else, I'm looking for dome trim that surrounds the plate that screws itself together mines got a hell of a gap probably 1"-1.5" gap between my headliner and the recessed part of the pate, is there a factory made trim piece that goes there to cover it up or did some one think they knew what they were doing and cut my headliner short? Thanks

yes, many 90 gtz had the sunroof. (dont know about the 'princess' brand) you may want to take a pic of what you need just in case.

It was cut and headlinder material is stretched.
If you were into hitting salvage yards I would find a higher end aftermarket electric and swap it in.
I have found them in Probes, ZX2's.
It must be a slide out! There is a very cool model that would be about $900 installed if a shop had done it.

Definitely not a factory sunroof. The OEM ones are a bit bigger with different mounts.
An elec one would be cool to fit.

I remember my Dad cutting up his old 86 C10 to put a sunroof in, similar to that. I don't think he had much trouble finding it (early 90's though) and only took an afternoon to install, so this might be a generic aftermarket installation.
Looks like it wasn't done as well as it should have, which leads me to believe it is a generic aftermarket piece. No offense, the sunroof in Dad's truck was leak free and helped air out the cab on those hot days without AC. It makes me seriously want to put on in my K5 and my Corsica, but I like Erich's idea of cutting out a nice factory slide out
