Bad tensioner pulley/berings

what are the sounds of a bad tensioner pulley or bearing? I noticed this noise the other day when I started my car, kinda sounds like metal on metal rubbing. I didn't think anything of it as it seemed to disappear while driving. However I did keep hearing it at stops or at idle. Well tonight it got worse and louder. I popped the hoodand listened, and its coming from the belt area. I just had my serp belt replaced a week before bfest 2012, so I'm certain it isn't that as its not a "squeal" like I said it almost sounds like metal on metal rubbing sound. I wish I would have recorded it for you all to hear, maybe I will try tomorrow!!! Just wondering if for now someone could give me their input.....thanks in advance!!

A bearing in the AC compressor is my guess.

Alternator bearings? Makeshift stethoscope with a screwdriver to ear.
