2011 Proposals CLOSED! - See Yahoo Groups site for polling!
Ok ladies and gentlemen....
Get ready to vote! We have three proposals in this year (almost two if not for the procrastinator at heart!) and will get right to the voting.
Your choices:
-Escanaba, MI - Take a walk on the quieter side of Bfest with a trip to the northwoods. Pristine forests, a wonderful road rally, plenty of good ole' liquor stores (thanks Jon), and an invitation to the Little's for a smore around the campfire. Northwoods Bfest offers something the others can't - peace and quiet. Come to the northwoods for a Leinie's, some campfires, and untold amounts of Beretta fish stories.
-Indianapolis, IN - "Gentlemen, start your engines" will be the thought passing through your head as you tour the historic and world class Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Oh yea, don't forget that pesky visit with the Beretta Indy pace car, and enough Bfest nostalgia to bring out even the old-timers! Return to the old stomping grounds of BFest '99.
-Denver, CO - In a battle of reviving past Bfests, the site of Bfest '04 offers something the others simply can't - the Rocky Mountains. Amazing mountain range views, the Mile High city life of Denver, potential autocross, and the ability to beat-your-car-and-not-break-it feeling of racing the 1/4 mile while you try to find out where that 10-15 bhp went... Join the old "Colorado Crew" for a Coors and take in all the mountains have to offer.
The rules:
1. PAY ATTENTION. There will be, as in the past, 3 different polls open. One for people who have never been to a BerettaFest, one for people who have been to ONE BerettaFest, and one for people who have been to 2 OR MORE BerettaFests. Your vote will count for 1, 2, and 3 points respectively. Access the polls at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Bfest. Vote in your correct poll!
2. BE HONEST. If you vote in the wrong poll, please place a vote in the correct poll and notify me personally of the error. I will correct the adjusted points totals. Be aware that I will be auditing the results. Anyone that I find has intentionally voted in the wrong poll will have their vote tossed out.
3. HAVE FUN. This is your change to shape where your event will be handled. Enjoy the opportunity!
May the best proposal win, and I wish all proposals the best of luck! Polls will be sent out now, and will run for ONE WEEK on the Yahoo Groups site. Polls will close Monday October 18th at 10:00 pm PROMPTLY! Good luck!
