B'Fest NE (Canada?) CANCELLED!
I'm just going to float this and see what the reaction might be.
I'm thinking of putting together a late summer event based in and around Kingston, Ontario. http://www.cityofkingston.ca
There is lots to see and do and it's a beautiful area. The 1000 island boat cruises are spectacular. http://www.1000islandcruise.ca
It's also in Canada where the dollar is worth a bit more and most of you will need a passport to attend. (Dumb requirement, but YOU started it!)
There is no local racetrack! (There actually is a drag strip and road course about an hour away in Shannonville, but I'm not thinking there would be enough demand for it, and there is so much else to do. http://www.shannonville.com) Maybe an optional activity.
It is however close to most of the NE people who would be interested in a late August get together.
Just thinkin' out loud!

I'd be interested as long as the dates work out for me and Amy, plus being close it's not as far to drive so we wouldn't need over a week off for just a weekend event.

Re: B'Fest NE (Canada?)
Thinking August 9-11th or 16-18th.
But that can certainly be changed.

Re: B'Fest NE (Canada?)
It's in Canada, but still really far away for me. I'd love to make my way out there with my Corsica though.

Re: B'Fest NE (Canada?)
The more I look into this the more I'm loving it.
I have always loved the 1000 Islands area and Downtown Kingston is marvelous.
This might get exciting folks!
The boat tour alone is worth the visit!!
Then of course there is me and Barb. (Hell that alone is probably worth the trip. ROFL!!)
More feedback is welcome.
And critics too!! Just throwing out ideas.
Suggest dates please!

Re: B'Fest NE (Canada?)
I'd be interested for sure, and I think it's a viable option for those people who may not be able to attend Denver.

Re: B'Fest NE (Canada?)
Once I talk with the other half, will have a fair idea of dates I can go. But sounds like it will be fun.
