Bfest 2010 Updates!

Post by quad4berettagtz »

Ok folks, we are heading into the home stretch!

Based on the feedback I got from the email I sent out to the email group, we will be set up on thursday night for go-karts at Chicago Indoor Racing for the Full Grand Prix. We will be having prizes for the top 5 drivers from the karting, so make sure you can attend - it will be a blast!

Also of important note: Make sure to get your hotel reservation in ASAP, as the hotel will stop holding rooms for our group on 6/3. Any availability after 6/3 will be first come first serve like a normal hotel.

I apologize for those of you who just got your hotel info after paying last week - I was out of town from 5/20-5/25 for my 5 yr anniversary weekend! You should have your info now, so go make those reservations!!

Keep posted for more updates, and see you in the Windy City!

Guess that just means you will have to bring all you got to the 1/4 mi or to the car show!! :D

Don't worry - there will be plenty of raffle prizes at the picnic as well!!

What time is the karting? I have no idea when I am leaving but the time of that may sway my decision.

Check in will be at the hotel, in the "Breakfast Room" just inside by the lobby.

Karting check in at the track starts at 5:30. I need to figure "official" travel time to the site, but I would guess 4:45-5p departure from the hotel...

Crap, I'd have to leave at 1:30AM to make that... and that's if I don't hit any traffic...

I'll have to think about that one.

Yeah I know, I'm not sure if I can pull off the day earlier... unless I drive through the night.

I'm already taking off 3 weeks in August for my cross country run after the wedding... so I gotta tread lightly on vacation time. I really don't have a limit, but I need to keep it realistic. I've been here for over 10yrs so I am allotted 3wks... so I'm already overdoing it taking more days off :)

Haha, I don't have enough time to take off for bfest either (i'm on vacation next week too). I'll probably be working tuesday and wednesday and still not have enough time for the week. Luckily my drive is short though.

Those "Turn Left and Step On It Guys" are all anal retentive.

It's like a cat chasing it damn tail!

You end up back where you started and after 30 minutes everyone is pissed-off!
