Quad 4 head flow
is there any reason the heads were only tested to .400? even if flow dropped to 240 cfm @ .500 lift thats still enough to support a measly .430-.480 lift easy. port stall and saturation are an issue i know. i was hoping to find exhaust side cfm. i didnt plan on touching the intake side at all. if fl...

thanks Rob, but im not entirely sure that its going to get that hot in that location. hot water pipes in mobile homes are pvc and in jacuzzis. i realize that underhood gets hot, but theres no direct heat being applied to the pvc other than the ambient stuff. pvc is alot thicker than the rubber stuff...

Better exhaust for 90 gtz
2.25 bah!
go 2.5" or youre wasting you time and money. dont worry about loss of torque down low. you dont lose any. actually get an increase near 3,000 rpm. again..go 2.5". theres no negative impact plus you have room later on to modify further.

backpressure is horsesh**. you want less of that. what you want is velocity. lack of velocity is backpressure. Rex is right. what needs to happen is to find the correct size pipe in order to keep velocity up but not restrict flow. Rex done told ya 2.5" is the way to go. i did it on my stock GTZ...

ill agree with Rex when he said that you can feel a difference on a cooler night than a hot day. i live in the FL panhandle and when its cool here i can feel an improvement. im not talking 20 hp or anything but it is enough to notice that the car pulls harder in gear. Dante, i think im on the same p...

a better idea would be to cut the ld2 header up about 6" from the flange, then follow the same lines, but with a 1 3/4" step in it. then finish it off with a 2.5" collector leading to a mandrel bent 2.5" exhaust. THAT would be alot better. =)
