Speed Limiter

Yes, this should have been locked a long time ago when it was clear that it was promoting a blatant illegal action. As for the response up front, Can you read?  Do you know how?  "Also, I'm offended by you're condesending tone towards "17 year old kids.""  Re-read what I wrote. ...

Speed Limiter

I still don't understand on why someone would do this.  The limiter is there for a reason, and it has nothing to do with U.S. speed limits.  It is not for someones one safety either.  A car crashing at 85 would for the most part be just as damaging as 120 but at least at 80-85, you may still have so...

Headlight Options?

Ok, Well I know about the BMW Halo style headlights and the lack of available Euro style but are there any others that will fit with little work?   What model and years do the BMW lights come from?  What other cars can I pull from? I do most of my driving at night in areas without much for street li...

Plus Zero Sizes

I decided to go with the 225's.  No problems yet, well it has only been 2 days.  I didn't even know about what will fit untill I input my car into www.discounttiredirect.com.  They list all the plus sizes that will fit and keep the speedometer correct.

car starting problem

When you turn your key to the 'START' position, does everything turn off like the radio and dash lights?  If no, look no further then the ignition switch. As for Autozone checking the starter, I couldn't see this ever working while still on the car.  The best they sould check for while on the car is...

If the noise sticks around for that long, I would think that you should be able to get your ear in there and get a really good idea of where the sound comes from.  Why keeping pulling it apart and reinstall everything if you can narrow down where the sound comes from?   Why play the guessing game?  ...

Center Console Lid '90-'92

I got one out of a '91 GTZ w/ gray interior.  Of course the locking mech is broke on it but padding is still good and it has very minimal warpage.   My '91 GTZ is being scrapped in a few days anyways so $10?  I would ship via UPS and it takes two non-holiday weekdays to ship.

94 electrical

I really wish you found the actual problem with this.  I to am in the situation with the lights staying on and the chime never stops along with the radio going off. I so far just took the radio on wire and wired it directly to fuse 11 block.  As for the lights and shime, removal of the fuse at a sac...

looking for diagrams

The Haynes Manual has full diagrams in the back of the book.  They are fairly easy to read even for someone that doesn't have any knowledge of electrical wireing.
