yah the drive is good i pulled the front valve cover and oil is comeing up on to the head but not through the lifters i looked at a old block out of one of mine and there were some plugs in between the lifters i was thinking if the machine shop dident put one of those back in that it might be losein...

yah new oil pump drive shaft dident actually change the drive gear but put the drive shaft up form the bottom and it wouldent turn so i am assuming that the dirve gear is meshed to the cam shaft and holding corectally
