Hey guys...thanks for your input...it is much appreciated. I initially only took it to the dealership to get the diagnostics....good to know that I could do better on the price by checking around. Now that I know what is wrong with it I will hunt around for a shop by using the methods you suggested....

Ok guys...heres the deal. I had a full diagnostic ran on the 94 Z26 that I just bought (because I am an idot). It was not the head gasket as the one shop told me. I took it to Camp Chevrolet in Spokane and they said it is the upper and lower IMG's and Oil Pan Gasket, also the entire exhaust system n...

Thanks...the car has 154k and there is no milky or chocolaty oil or on the cap...however today I did see a couple of drops of oil on the ground in my shop which I have not seen in the 2 weeks that I have had the car.

Oh...got it on the LIM...sheesh!

Forgive my ignorance what is the LIM? I did look at the dip stick and there is no milky looking anything...also checked the oil fill cap...no milk!

I am new to this forum although I have owned a 90 GTZ for 7+ years and lovin it...very reliable. Since I have had such a great experience with my 90 I decided to pick up a 94 Z26 (automatic) for my mom to drive while she is visiting from out of state as she can't drive a standard. Thought I was smar...
