Re: 2003 Sunfire GT "Vikki"

LED bulbs into a modified "shallow" turn sig housing? That's way more effort than what I would like to do. I'm trying to keep this easy with minimal work. I just ended up spray painting the grill back to black and putting that sucker on. http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y470/SkyMayFall...

Re: 2003 Sunfire GT "Vikki"

totally the inverse of what I offered as a questioning and suggestion. Oh, you're on to something. Somebody on the Jbody forum did exactly that by keeping the stock turn signals in place. It works, but it also pushes the grill forward since it'll sit on top of the lamps. Makes the fit kind of weird...

Re: 2003 Sunfire GT "Vikki"

Well, when in Rome! I decided to go ahead with whatever it is I do these days. The best part is that everything is 100% reversible with super ease. I moved the turn signals to the foglight holes. Picked these suckers up for $15 from the junkyard: http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y470/SkyMayFall1/...

Re: 2003 Sunfire GT "Vikki"

Awesome find with the K-brace, I honestly had no idea they had them for j bodies. I have the Z26 wheels on out of convenience. The Sunfire tires were worn out and needed replacing so I picked from the Beretta since it had good tires and it wasn't moving anytime soon. My initial mod is probably going...

2003 Sunfire GT "Vikki"

My Beretta still needs a lot of work to get going, but in the meantime I'm putting the spotlight on my daily j-body. http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y470/SkyMayFall1/WP_20160410_18_03_47_Pro_zps1u0ah4fn.jpg In short, I took it autocrossing over the weekend. it's all stock minus the Z26 wheels. I...

GM's New CEO

Mary Bara is going to be CEO of the mighty GM which is really refreshing to see. She's been at GM her whole life. Her dad worked for GM as a die maker for 39 years and she drove a Chevy Chevette throughout college. http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/198ysu20vf4o1jpg/ku-xlarge.jpg Some commentator jokin...

Re: B.net Shirt

3500 swap is getting more and more difficult due to the fact that TCE does not sell the crank trigger anymore(or at least they can't even be contacted), you have to either make your own or find a used one for sale. errr...maybe the shirt should just say "3400 swap". Better yet, "3100...

B.net Shirt

I finally finished making the design for my self-made B.net shirt; because the answer is always a 3400/3500 swap. I'm totally buying this as a Christmas present to myself next month. http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y470/SkyMayFall1/pic2_zps16f1b247.png http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/y470/Sk...
