The oil, volt and rpm comes from the ECM, what I found so far is if the car was not with a digital cluster, even if you do find the right wire harness, the prom has to be reprogrammed in the ECM. I can fix those cluster and changes colors too, put LEDs in... Same with all the lights in and around the car.
Been doing that since my first beretta gt in 88.
I found a good old 1990 Gtz , having fun with it...
