So after I replaced the ICM, and replaced the coils with D555 delcos and swapped the cylinder 1 spark plug I bought some new wires from nappa and the missfire went away so after all the replacements and frustration I finally got it. I'm not sure what a "lifter tick" is but it's almost like an electrical tick, almost like the sound of the initial cooling fan......I drive a 1996 Z26 with the 3.1 SFI, as stock as can be....I'm thinking it's a vacuum leak, the hose that connects the evap is dry and old so I'm going to swa...

Thanks for getting back to me. I also noticed a tick sound that happens right before the RPM's bog down. Maybe something to do with the evap? I think I read something about an evap causing some sort of problem like that All ignition wires and plugs have been changed as well, my car was with my mecha...

Oil pressure bounces at idle
At idle the when warm and at a stop my oil pressure gauge bounces and continues to lower itself below half. My engine then feels like it's missing, and that's my guess. Is this normal when a coil is bad? I drive a 96' Z26 beretta in california. So far a new OEM MAF, OEM ICM.
