Re: 89 GT wont run without throttle
So it runs but rich and sort of rough with tps unplugged. Installed new tps and won't run unless its unplugged. Ran if I let it warm up with it unplugged, shut it off and quickly plugged it back in and started it again. Ran for 10 min and tried again and won't run unless its unplugged again. At a lo...

89 GT wont run without throttle
Did new fuel lines on my 89 GT, ran fine that night. Tried next day and it will not run unless you give it throttle and keep throttle on it. Has new plugs, and had new iac, tps and o2 in last year. Tested FPR by unplugging the vaccum line and turning to on position to prime pump and got no fuel. One...

Re: Digital Cluster odometer rapidly rising??
Left battery unhooked for awhile and it resolved itself, unfortunately it did remember the extra miles.

10 Instrument Panel Light Bulb CML 71113A3LF(PC74 / Dorman 639-008)
These do work, the led versions from Amazon were wrong socket size despite listing 74 as compatible.

Digital Cluster odometer rapidly rising??
Strange issue, odometer is rapidly increasing on my digital cluster, was fine before, took it out (put new bulbs in it anyways) and still does it. It racked up about 5000 miles in 2 or 3 minutes just sitting still, oil pressure gauge is also inoperable now, just has 0 psi always. Wtf?

Indy/GTU ground effects, 87 to 90 tilt column, Central PA
Looking for the GTU/Indy ground effects, already have the ducktail spoiler and wheels. Or if anyone knows of junkyards in central PA that would have berettas in them specifically a GTU or Indy. Also need a tilt column for my 89 GT.

Re: 1989 Digital Dash soldered bulbs?
Tried bulbs with sockets that were listed as: T5 73 74 3528 and they didn't work, just a tad too small and didn't reach the contacts on the digital dash (circuit board?)

1989 Digital Dash soldered bulbs?
What bulbs do these take? They are the small soldered type, can you buy the sockets and bulbs anymore or do I need to put strip lights in it or something? Three of the 4 bulbs are burned out. I believe the car is 6/89 build date?

Re: I need help with this HUGE mod!
I did the 91+ console in my old GTU I had, looked ok but it will overhang in the front on both sides, from what I remember the 91+ cars have ducting or something running to the rear that the pre-91s do not have. It will look odd if you do not swap the carpet as well or figure something out.

Re: 90 GTZ Headgasket?
I'll have to find where I read it if possible. You're probably right though, have not gone any further than looking at the plugs yet due to being busy with other things. Plugs were filthy which further threw me away from head gasket combined with the lack of smoke, but probably smart to go into it e...

Got any pics showing full side or even a close up showing door vs rear side window? Interested in if it creates a gap or looks odd. From those pics that looks awesome for the price.

Re: 90 GTZ Headgasket?
Huh, what I read was that the newer ones do not leak, and the first edition/first design leaked into the oil when bad. I did pull the plugs and they appeared very dirty/black (usually they clean everything when coolant enters the cylinder) and it is not smoking/steaming. just loosing coolant into th...

90 GTZ Headgasket?
Ok, i was gonna sell the GTZ a while back but I ended up backing out due to coolant starting to appear in oil. Runs as good as ever (I do not run it more than a few seconds, a minute tops to move it) Do I seem right in assuming headgasket? It is to my understanding that the water pump can mimick the...
