I've been quite busy getting this ready for BGKY! Fixed the front lip, wet sanded, polished and waxed the hood (that is a mixture of clouds and warpage, lol), fixed the paint on the roof, wet sanded, polished and waxed... Didn't turn out great, but looks much better. Put the solid grille back on as well. The car also finally has a new exterior driver's door handle, the old one has been JB Welded for years.

I also put a horn button in the car, wiring in the steering wheel is messed up bad, but got the "foot switch" to run to the factory relay. Too bad now it needs a new horn, but I have a pair of Hella horns on order. I also finally got around to cleaning up and installing my new Z seats! The LTZ seats don't fold forwards, and rocked like rocking chairs. I did adapt over the old style seat adjusters though! These seats are soooo much firmer!

Those guys... They always make a mess in the car -everything you feed them ends up all over the seats! :D At least they don't hurt the power-to-weight ratio much, and they MIGHT get you through in the car-pool lanes.

Skully is my riding buddy for life! Haha. I had to move him to the back seat, I kept forgetting to unbuckle the passenger belt while opening the door and I was sick of it, lol.

I got my Hella horns on today too, so much better!

This isn't a Subaru... You need some Cadillac horns... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3e5BCE9zFI I still have a set of these to put on my car.

I need to get a set out of a Buick like mine when I'm at the yard next, haha. Quad horns are fantastic!

More progress these past couple weeks!

Fixed most of my exhaust leak (header downpipe that wouldn't tighten up), did a trans filter and fluid change (Raybestos kit with compression stops in the gasket), went back to ceramic pads on the front to match the rears, and detailed the car!

I finally bought some 303 for the inside, and also used the Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wax on it after washing it. It only came out to $12 after my employee discount. Not as easy to "dry off" the car as the instructions imply, or maybe I just used too much, lol. It's not a true ceramic wax, but for $12 you can't expect it to be.

I've been looking into the ceramic paint coating stuff. It's intriguing. Boner did it on his vette so it can't be too tough! Haha

It's probably time I start catching up again on this... So... From Bfest!

Bfest damage from worn out shocks and not fully rolled fenders, mixed with GFX needing trimmed! Thankfully these inserts that Brian recommended got me home.

So on to Strange Engineering Fox body adjustable shocks and Air Lift 1000 drag bags, thanks to info from Jon and Eric!

Did a little surface rust work while the tail light assembled were all out, while I routed the hose for the air bags too.

Back to the Magnapack, I missed the sound of it versus the Hooker Aerochamber.

Image

Washed it, found a good spot for a quick picture too.

I also finally took it to it's first cruise in that's it's been to in years! Big one too, right down the street from my house. The car surprisingly got a lot of attention. Only FWD GM there. Some girl walking past it thought it was a Mustang until she read the back of it though... Haha.
