The 2025 Beretta.Net Community Calendar Voting Thread

Post by Styluss »

From the alpine mountains in the distance a very thick, ominous fog rolls down the slopes and into the valley... A single fire can be seen atop the highest of these peaks, seemingly gigantic in size. Towering over the hilltops, burning the sky itself with its endless orange glow. At the base of this epic fire is a single shadow. A man, you assume. You can't see his face but you know him... you know his purpose. He turns rapidly in your direction to look down from his fiery perch and throws back the hood on his cloak to stare into your soul with a gaze stronger than the sun itself and he cries out with all the power of a God among men "It's time for the 2025 Beretta.Net Community Calendar voting to begin!

Here are the 26 entrants for the 2025 Beretta.Net community calendar! This is only two submissions more than last year... Our community continues to grow and yet our calendar submissions do not as proportionately. Why is that? No really, it doesn't make sense... There are SO MANY hot rides in our ranks these days, why are you not submitting your car for consideration? I'd love to see 30+ submissions each year! So yeah, get on that. Please? Seriously, why didn't you enter? Yeah you with one of the many Indys the community acquired this year. Or you, with the crazy low mileage car that's damn near new. Or you! Yes you, with the couple hundred thousand mile car that looks just great because you care for it. Come on folks, let's see those rides next year.

It's nice to see a few new faces participating this year, as well as many long-standing community members. This years' selection process is going to be hard once again as the submission quality this year remained at the higher end. Thank you! I'm very pleased to say that I had very little editing to do on many of these shots and some of them I barely even touched, if at all. Nice work. There were only a couple of photos that were a tad on the darker side or that were composed oddly. But the vast majority of submissions were clean, crisp and high quality. For the first time ever I believe I actually turned down a submission due to the poor quality of the photo so remember, this isn't 2010 anymore, we need QUALITY submissions folks.

So anyway, 26 entries. That means we have to cut this field down by over half to determine our winners. As always it's gonna be a tough one as well, it's always hard picking your favorite Beretta, let alone multiple Berettas. Voting starts now and will end on Sunday, October 13th. That's two weeks to get your votes in but hey, you're here reading this now right? So vote now! Only if needed will I contact the winners shortly after to clarify any of your information provided. Winners will be granted their choice of month, in order of most votes received. REMEMBER, I have only listed the information you provided me. If you didn't provide anything your name is listed. If you didn't give me your full name, your full name isn't listed. I will make no assumptions in hunting down information so it's on you to get me what you want listed in your winning calendar shot, if anything. Most people go with forum screen name, real name, car year, engine and location. But you're welcome to pick and choose from that as you like. This is your last chance to add anything or correct any spelling errors! Send any edits to: Ryan.Haenny@gmail.com and be sure to look for reply email so you know I got your edit.

Each of the photos I received were adjusted with my novice Photoshop skills to adjust/enhance for color, contrast, hue, saturation and more. But only when I felt it needed it. All photos were adjusted equally as I simply let each picture speak for itself and show me what it wanted. If you have an issue with how it came out contact me directly and we can have it fixed to your liking. But I think all will enjoy the saturated theme that I like to apply to all submissions each year. Please remember, I can only do so much, especially when a photo is not of the best quality in the first place.

As we have branched out to Facebook with the calendar heavily once again this year I need to say that NO VOTES ON FB WILL BE COUNTED. All voting shall be done here on the website, in this thread, via the poll. That means I won't take your emails, texts, comments made anywhere nor your psychic mind tricks as a vote. You are able to change your vote(s) at any time prior to the poll closing on October 13th. If you don't make twelve votes, that's on you. I will not be reaching out to anyone to notify them of a lack of votes. But please, do place twelve votes. There's no reason to come in here and vote for like 3 cars and bail. So, get to voting! I give you the 26 entrants to be considered for the 2024 Beretta.Net Calendar!
