I called the number and ordered it custom untrimmed and with no heel pad on the driver's side. The heel pad makes the floor mat want to slide around. Same price since they are made-to-order anyway...$148. I remember back in '05 when I bought mine it was only like $115!

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd
I think I'm going to be ordering one of these soon... the carpet is the worst part in my 96 and I just need some custom floor mats that match OEM ones.
Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd
I can't remember where I ordered my carpet and floor mats from but it wasn't that expensive I think it was that company "custom carpets" and they had factory shape floormats which I ordered with my carpet, They were very good quality but I believe I paid like $75 for two of them

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd
The custom Z seats are gone to their new home. Glad to see them in another 3400/5spd. Picked up the leather Cobalt rear seat on the way back and I'm happy with them. Although I will say the 7hr roadtrip in my old man's underpowered Mazda pickup with no cruise control could have been better. haha

looks pretty nice man!
Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd
I like those rears... What's your plan for the lower mount location on the floor? Any progress on the fronts? I'm also curious how these look from the rear deck (ie, how much taller are they than the deck itself?).

^^^ I never liked the way the rear z04 seat was so high... would be nice if you could lower the top of seat to be more even with the rear shelf.

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd
Bill O is the guy's name.
To mount them, I am cutting the spot welds on the mounts from a Cobalt at the local jy and welding them in where they need to be. I'm sure there will be some massaging needed, but I'll make it work.
They are probably a couple inches taller than the deck, but the Z04s are probably about 1" taller. I'll get a pic when it's all together.

It was an 88 or 89 black GT with a partial Z kit. Work in progress.

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd
Carpet & Cobalt seatbelts came in. They look like they will work just dandy. Got the rear disc partially assembled to realize I was missing the adjuster for the ebrake. So that will be in tomorrow. Hoping to make some decent progress on it this weekend while the weather is warm.

Re: Project 91 "SS" 3400/5spd
Pics! Using the backing plate as a spacer centered the pads perfectly. I cut off the dust shield part of the backing plate because it was kinda rusty and the fronts don't have the dust shield anyway. Didn't have banjo bolts for the calipers, so fluid lines won't be done until tomorrow.

Massaged the floor a bit with the BFH and made temporary rear mounts on the sliders. Seat travel is good and seat height is also good. Helmet fits with no problem. It's making me want to drive this thing!
