Re: what did you do to your ride today?
Also tracked down a working/good shape bulb for the lumbar support feature the car has. Hope to see it in the mail soon. This Indy may not be one week removed from a fresh paint job, but it is coming together great in finding all the stuff to make it complete.

Today I accepted that my daily driver is showing it's age.

Like, Front seat fabric is about to die. rear seat already did this, and I swapped in GTZ seat.
I may have to replace these from the seats from my Base

Next summer is the latest when I have to replace the rusted out part of this rear shock tower.
Also i need to re-do brake lines to rear axle and possibly new rear spring upper supports
Also, today I noticed that the passenger floorboard is wet, again. Some of you know how much I've done to stop that firewall leak in the past. I guess nothing lasts forever.
And last, but not the least, my swaybar end link has snapped on two, I knew there is something going on with the added clunking and clanking sounds lately.

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
Changed around my intake setup on the 96, i guess you could have called it short ram instead of cold air before, i managed to get some tubing down the factory hole beside the battery and managed to fit my filter down inside the fender and i didnt have to cut or hack nothing up, although i need some matching color joiners for my tubing to make it look better.
Seems to work well, it feels like it has a little more lower end power maybe a bit more up top, i love the feel of this thing jolting you when it hits 2nd gear

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
Installed brand new struts/shocks yesterday (monroe sensatrac and monroe HD shocks) and this morning got it aligned.
Re: what did you do to your ride today?
I am so glad my shock towers look nothing like that. But the red base I had here was WAY worse.
Lets see. Drove mine a bit. Not much else. Due for an oil change actually. Going to get a lot more miles this weekend though. Yay me.
Getting ready to tear the van down, if the weather will let me... Have to pull the front bumper cover and driver's side fender, so I can see what needs to be straightened, and fix all that. Pre-paint the underside of the new hood, edges of the new fender/bumper cover, etc. Get them ready to mount, so I can paint the outer portions. More on that soon enough in its own thread.

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
I bought Andys (Schmerge94z26) from bstuff old 3400 swapped Z26 a few days ago.
It's beat up a bit..
So today I swapped in a good passenger side outside mirror since it was broke clean off when I bought it. Then replaced the taillight that was messed up and a few other small things.
After I bought it, I found out it was eating serpentine belts because he was too lazy to get the right tensioner pulley for it. That is getting fixed then a new belt and it should be good to go.
A 50 dollar part so it won't eat serpentine belts... Good job Andy lol (I don't know that its fully his fault, but either way its not hard to swap a tensioner lol)

Used cargo straps inside the drivers seat to re-created support for lower back. Ghetto fix that is cheap, not a bit visible under the cushion and works great!

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
Gave it a good deep hand wash, claybar again, and Meguiars cleaner wax for a final touch. Drove out to Lobo Canyon and took about a dozen shots in different spots for the calendar. Also took a few in town.
Re: what did you do to your ride today?
Drove it some more today. That's about it. LOL
Tomorrow will be a busy day, and crappastic weather, joy o joy.

Re: what did you do to your ride today?
Did an oil and coolant change to my spare Quad engine that has not been driven since 2005? And did the yearly 'run it with starter motor' to keep it from locking up.
Also removed sway bar end links from the black car. Drivers side was in 2 pieces, passenger side was about to go... Still i can hear some clunking, i guess something else is on the way out too.
