Is the 3500 EGR the same as the late 3400 EGR? If so I might still have an EGR adaptor kicking around I could sell.

deleting the EGR is about as beneficial as an ebay performance chip.

When my 3400 was still stock.I didn't notice any loss in gas mileage.Without having the EGR hooked up.It was still over 30 on the highway. With 3500 heads i've heard you can get even better gas mileage=)

What do you guys think about upgrading the tb? Milzy offers a 62, 65, and 68. Stock 3400 is 56mm, the only way 68 would work on the 3500 uim manifold would be to widen the inlet on the intake manifold 3mm (from what I've read the inlet is 65mm).
Keeping in mind that I plan on a much more extensive engine build, do you think 68mm would be too big?

The mileage loss isn't much. I got 32 with mine and no EGR, but I'd be curious to see what it would have gotten with it. The EGR reduces pumping losses and if there is any unburned fuel it helps burn that too. The extra timing also makes it a little more efficient.
I deleted it on the Beretta because my EGR pipe wouldn't fit my headers, and it gave me the opportunity to smooth the throttle body neck on the UIM.

Stock TB's suck, just snag a TCE.
Woody did you take any pics of the work you did on the upper?

Milzy has them listed for sale... whether they're in stock or not I don't know... I ordered one and paid for it. Guess I'll have to see if he's still got them... Ordered the remainder of my parts (I HOPE) today... Took my heads to the shop.
Anyone have any idea if the 3400 roller rockers are the same as the 3500 roller rockers? And will the 3400 valve covers fit on the 3500 heads? I figure they would... Cleaned up the block a little bit, waiting to get everything back and I can assemble it, get it ready to go in.
Other than that all I need is torque specs for everything... Jon already told me what the ARP studs are, 75; that's to torque the studs themselves into the block right? What about the nuts that hold the heads down? Are they also 75?

60degreev6.com has a chart for all the torque specs.
I'm nit sure about the rockers, but I do know the valve covers will swap.

2003 and up rocker arms are all the same 8mm.
I have a set if you need them off my 3400 heads.
Make an offer.

Alright so I made it to the junkyard today and got everything I needed from a 95 3100 Beretta/Corsica. One thing though... I got the 94+ fuel lines, but how do you adapt the end of them to the threaded body lines...? How did you do that Kurt or were yours not threaded on the body of your 93? That's the only thing I'm seeing here. I also noticed that I need to swap the 3400 thermostat housing onto the 3500 LIM.
Since the last major part shipment I got in 94+ steel power steering lines, Fidanza flywheel, Energy suspension poly bushings, steering rack, new alternator (was toying with the idea of the 200amp Alternator that Advanced had for $350+ but I decided against it... ; ), and probably some other goodies I can't remember. I'm waiting on my MRZ dogbone and TCE 65mm TB.
I noticed people talking about filling your motor mounts with some kind of Poly like filler, what's the stuff called and is there a walk through on how to do it? Do you basically just take a whole mount and fill it in with the stuff? I imagine it makes the mounts a lot stiffer?
Monday I'm going to take the whole subframe apart and degrease/clean the whole underside and suspension. Depending on if there's any huge amount of rust I may have the subframe sandblasted before I paint it. Also gonna clean and paint the trans. Then I can reassemble all of the suspension, after that I'll start assembling the motor, get ready to put it in.
Anyone have any idea about the changes that need to be made to the vacuum line system or any kind of sensors that are different?

I don't see why you would need a 200 amp alternator.
It's super easy to fill the mounts.Duct tape one side so it doesnt run straight through.Mix it and fill them=) Mc master carr is where i got mine.Shore 94a
