Where is the hose located in the engine-bay? Does it have vacuum when the engine is running, or does it seem to be 'dead'? From the pics it looks grey, my '95 Z-26 had a grey vacuum line going to the auto-tranny (modulator on the front of the trans). The line was below and just a foot or so inboard of the battery-tray, in front of the engine. Your essential vacuum-supplies will be one into the right-side firewall connector (for HVAC), one under the left headlight (vacuum-accumulator -this might move around from year to year, below the left headlight is a fairly safe bet though -look for a black plastic ball a little bigger than a grapefruit), fuel-tank purge solenoid (typically with the coil-packs in this era, usually on the canister itself under the washer/coolant reservoir on the passenger's side on the older cars), and of course the purge-canister supply-line itself. Obviously, you also have the huge brake-booster line, MAP sensor and FPR, but you already have those connected... Am I missing anything else? The PCV valve feeds into the intake pipe too, and usually there is an open tube from the rear-bank cylinder head also feeding into the intake pipe defeating the need for the actual valve part of the PCV valve they installed on the front bank %) . Do you have access to the VECI label from your donor harness? That should provide info too if I've missed anything.
